Overview

The Specialist Amputee Rehabilitation Service provides treatment and care for people who have lost a limb and who need further support before returning home from hospital. It is based at Pine Cottage on the Colman Hospital Site.

The service aims to help patients recover quickly and enable them to get back to a life which is as normal as possible.

A team of health and social care professionals will work together to provide care and they will include: physiotherapists, occupational therapists, nurses and doctors and social workers.

Outpatient Opening Hours:
 Monday - Friday  9am - 5pm

Parking and Transport: Limited onsite parking. The parking surface is uneven which may cause difficulties for wheelchair users. Street parking nearby and accessible by public and community transport.

Access and Facilities: Main entrance well signposted and wheelchair accessible. Outside areas can be difficult for wheelchair users on their own. There is a wheelchair accessible toilet, and disabled parking on site.

Referral Information: Any age group, adult and people with a disability. Referals are made by health professionals.
