Come along to Norfolk Community NHS trust’s AGM

Members of the media and public are invited to attend Norfolk Community Health and Care NHS Trust’s (NCH&C) Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Thursday 26 September.

The event will be held at The Curve, The Forum, Norwich. Light refreshments will be provided from 9.30am, with the AGM due to run 10am -12.30pm. Attendees will hear from NCH&C’s leaders about the progress and achievements during 2018/2019.

Everyone is welcome to join NCH&C staff, system partners, commissioners and peers in hearing about what the trust hopes to accomplish in the months ahead.

At this year’s AGM there will be a keynote presentation about our highly successful NEAT (Network Escalation Avoidance Team) along with a talk from one of our Queen’s Nurse’s. The Queen’s Nurse title aims to encourage nurses to promote ‘best practice’ among colleagues.

Josie Spencer, NCH&C’s CEO, said: “The last year has been very successful for our Trust with gaining an outstanding rating by the CQC. The quality of our services has again improved and we have seen a rise in patient satisfaction results, while things like acquired infections and falls have decreased.

“The progress we have made over the last year puts us in good stead for the future and I’m sure that the best is still to come for our patients. I would like to encourage people to come along to our AGM where they can find out more about our services, meet our staff, ask questions and hear how our community-based care is benefiting local patients.

“It’s a chance for everyone to hear about what we have achieved over the past year and our plans for the year ahead.”
