Smokefree Advisor Melanie Macrow will be working in Ministry of Vape in Wymondham on National No Smoking Day (8th March, 2017) to give smokers advice on becoming smoke free.

Smokefree Norfolk wants to engage with people who are vaping and help them to work to give up their smoking addiction, and an adviser from the service will be at the premises between 1-3pm. Working with Ministry of Vape gives them a unique experience to engage with members of the public who vape, to explain nicotine addiction and how it affects them.

James Wade, Team Lead, Smokefree Norfolk, says, ‘Public Health England report that vaping is 95% safer than smoking tobacco but it is still important to have support during a quit process and to understand the nicotine addiction.

‘Please come along on National No Smoking Day and our specialist stop smoking advisor will be able to help and support you on you smokefree journey.’

Keith Butt from Ministry of Vape said, ‘When other Nicotine Replacement therapy failed to work for me, vaping was a great option.  I am happy to welcome Smokefree Norfolk to the shop.  Me and my staff are happy to help and to discuss electronic cigarettes and work with the Smokefree team help you to kick the habit.’
