Diagnostic Imaging
This service provides diagnostic imaging investigations for patients referred from GP practices and hospital outreach Outpatient Clinics.
The service will ensure that patients and their carers can routinely access the service between 8.30am and 5pm on a 4 day week (Mon – Thurs) basis.
Following a diagnostic procedure, a written report is sent to the referrer. Patients and carers are offered a choice of how to be addressed and appointment times as well as the opportunity to refuse treatment when appropriate.
Who this Service is for
This service is for patients (adults and children) who are registered with a practice that is part of Norfolk or Suffolk PCT, or people who are resident in Norfolk but are not registered with any practice whatsoever. For patient convenience and choice referrals can be accepted from registered medical practitioners outside of this area subject to the validation of their referrer status.

Hours of ServiceCurrently the service in Thetford operates on a four day 08.30 – 17.00 basis. Radiography in HMP Norwich is limited to one four hour session per week. |
