A warm welcome to Steve Crowe who has recently joined Norfolk Community Health and Care NHS Trust (NCH&C)

A chartered accountant with a wealth of experience in Executive Finance roles has joined the trust as a Non-Executive Director.

Speaking of his appointment, Steve Crowe, said; “NCH&C values and ways of working are a great fit with my own. My commercial experience coupled with a strong finance background will help me to work with the Board on securing the future of NCH&C’s services in the wider evolving NHS footprint and working to continuously evaluate and improve these services.”

A qualified accountant, Steve qualified with PricewaterhouseCoopers in 1999 before moving into industry in 2004 where he worked for Aviva for nine years in a variety of Executive Finance roles including Mergers & Acquisitions Director and CFO roles. Steve then moved onto to work for Private Equity as CFO in a turnaround business successfully selling the business in June 2018. Steve currently holds a Chief Financial Officer role in listed PLC in the online retail sector.

​Mr Crowe, who lives in Norwich, plans to use his wealth of experience in his role with NCH&C. “It’s been an exciting start to the role with the evolving Norfolk and Waveney Health and Care Partnership. The Board and wider NEDs have certainly welcomed and encouraged my input and I feel like a fully fledged functioning member of the team already.”

NCH&C Chair, Geraldine Broderick said: “I am delighted to welcome Steve to the Board at Norfolk Community Health and Care NHS Trust. He brings with him a wealth of business and finance experience which will prove hugely valuable as we continue to strive to maintain our outstanding rating across the Trust.”
