A warm welcome to Njoki Yaxley

NCH&C Non Executive Director Njoki Yaxley

Norfolk Community Health and Care NHS Trust would like to welcome Njoki Yaxley as an Associate Non Executive Director. Njoki brings with her a wealth of experience in governance and Social Housing, and was previously a Deputy Company Secretary at Flagship Housing Group. She also holds an undergraduate degree in Law from the University of East Anglia and a Masters in Housing Development from the London School of Economics. In 2014, she was selected as a Clore Social Leadership Fellow for a national award given to aspiring leaders for social causes.

Njoki has spent over 15 years working in various roles in social housing, helping to develop affordable housing for those in need in the East of England. She is very familiar with the connection between the health and housing sectors and has published research into how both sectors can better work together to help improve lives.

Commenting on her appointment, Njoki said: “I am excited to have joined NCH&C at a great time, with the outstanding rating from the CQC which is corroborated by the feedback we get from patients. I hope to use my skills, knowledge and experiences to help grow and maintain this position.”
