Community NHS Trust to showcase services at public event in September

AGM and Healthier Fair 232

Date Issued: August 26, 2016

Staff from Norfolk Community Health and Care NHS Trust (NCH&C) will be on hand at a special event in Norwich next month to show the public the care they provide across the county.

The NCH&C Healthier Fair, on Monday, 12 September, at The Forum, will also give people the opportunity to take part in some fun and interactive health checks and look around a range of informative stands to find out more about NCH&C’s community-based NHS services. These include: community and specialist nursing; musculoskeletal services; specialist rehabilitation; palliative care; diabetes; and stop smoking support.

For anyone interested in working with NCH&C, a team from Human Resources will be on hand with information about job opportunities and apprenticeships. NCH&C’s Volunteers Coordinator will also be available to answer questions for those who would like to give some of their spare time to supporting the various services.

The event will be opened at 9am with a performance from the newly-formed NCH&C Choir, featuring NCH&C's Chief Executive Roisin Fallon-Williams, which will be their first ever public show.

There will also be an opportunity to sign up to become a Trust Member and help to shape local healthcare plans for the future by taking part in surveys, workshops and events.

The event will finish at 4pm.
