NCH&C has appointed Stephen Collman as its new Chief Executive. Stephen joins the CQC rated Outstanding community NHS Trust from the George Eliot Hospital in Nuneaton, Warwickshire, where he has been Executive Director of Operations since 2018.

As well as operational leadership, Stephen has led strategic programmes of work covering acute, community, mental health and learning disability services. This is combined with a dedication to ensuring the patient remains at the heart of what we do and a passion for staff support, development and engagement.”

“A sincere thank you to all the staff and stakeholders who took part in the robust recruitment process and in helping us to make this appointment.”

Stephen said: “I am delighted to be taking on the role of Chief Executive of Norfolk Community Health and Care NHS Trust. Throughout the process I have been impressed by the values, vision and ambition of the Trust, and our system partners. By holding to these values we can continue to improve the health and well-being of the people we serve”.

NCH&C’s Deputy Chief Executive, John Webster, will step into the role as Interim CEO at NCH&C until Stephen joins the Trust in early 2022.
