Our vaccination team head to Latitude

Zoe Nash, Vaccination Programme Manager NCH&C, said: “It is really exciting and a privilege to be here. We have teamed up with our colleagues in Suffolk and North East Essex (SNEE) to provide the opportunity of Pfizer or AstraZeneca vaccinations to all festival goers at Latitude.

“Alongside our vaccination centre at Norwich Community Hospital, we recognise the importance of reaching out to individuals, for whom a vaccination centre may not be possible to access for many different reasons.

“Working with Norfolk and Waveney Clinical Commissioning Group, we have provided vaccinations at a variety of different venues, such as UEA and food factories. We felt offering vaccinations at Latitude, one of the largest music festivals in the country, would be a perfect opportunity to try and ensure as many people as possible are fully vaccinated.

“Just being able to interact with people face to face is something we haven't been able to do in a while because of COVID and so it's just great to be able to chat directly with people and discuss any vaccination concerns or worries.

“We are here from 10am – 4pm, throughout the festival. Please do drop by the medical tent and say hello, we know you are here to enjoy the festival but if you have been unsure about getting the vaccine, then come and talk to us. We have clinicians on site and can answer any questions or concerns you may have. The vaccination is quick and easy and won’t disrupt your enjoyment at the festival.”
