Now that the weather is getting warmer, it’s the perfect opportunity to get moving and raise some money for NCH&C’s Charitable Fund.
Throughout April and May, the trust’s Charitable Fund is encouraging people to raise money by collecting sponsorship to stay active every day. Your challenge is to walk, run or cycle every day during Spring to raise money for your local community NHS trust.
All you need to do is set up your own fundraising page (like JustGiving) and then pick your chosen activity and get moving!
Thanks to generous supporters, the Charitable Fund can support initiatives that improve staff and patient wellbeing throughout the trust. Most recently, the fund has provided staff meals and refreshments, garden rooms to aid patient recuperation, plus towels and toiletries for patients who cannot receive visitors. The Charitable Fund also covered the cost of Your Community magazine, to help keep staff connected and informed during the pandemic.
By taking part in the Charitable Fund’s Spring into Action campaign, you could help them provide:
- iPads for our residential services for disabled children
- Outdoor furniture for amputee rehabilitation
- Outdoor sand and water play for our adult learning disability facility
- Specialist equipment for our stroke ward
If you’d like to make a one-off donation to the Charitable Fund’s Spring into Action appeal, you can do so here.
Get moving, and raise money for your local NHS service!
