After what has been an undeniably gruelling year for the healthcare system, NHS Charities Together is organising a national ‘thank you’ for the NHS.
The NHS Big Tea is ‘a national outpouring of love’: celebratory tea parties across the UK in honour of NHS staff, and an opportunity to raise money for local NHS charities. Depending on the state of the national COVID restrictions, the NHS Big Teas are due to take place on or around Monday 5 July (the NHS’s 73rd birthday).
If you’d like to get involved, we’d love for you to organise a Big Tea party to fundraise for NCH&C’s Charitable Fund. You could arrange a coffee morning and quiz for your friends and colleagues, or even a pop-up cake stall for passers-by in your front garden: the possibilities are endless.
We’ll use your generous donations to keep helping NCH&C go above and beyond for its staff and patients. Your tea and cake could raise money for a new hospital garden for patients and staff, or for specialist equipment to help patients recover more effectively.
We have a range of branded NCH&C Charitable Fund resources to help make your Big Tea party extra special…
Don’t forget to share photos of your Big Tea events on Twitter using the hashtag #NHSBigTea and tagging in @NCHC_CF!
