Brightening Spaces and Lifting Spirits
Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, Norfolk Community Health & Care NHS Charitable Funds has recently funded beautiful new vinyl landscape artworks for patient day rooms within the Mulberry Unit at Norwich Community Hospital.

These large-scale pieces feature stunning scenes of the Norfolk countryside. Installed directly onto the walls, the vibrant imagery helps to bring the outside in, creating calm and welcoming spaces for patients, visitors, and staff.
Many of our patients spend long periods with us for rehabilitation or recovery, explains Ward Manager Amy Clarke. Having these bright, familiar landscapes makes such a difference - it helps people feel more relaxed and connected to the world beyond the ward.
The project was made possible entirely through donations to NCH&C Charity, which supports initiatives that go above and beyond NHS funding to improve patient well-being and staff experience.
It's wonderful to see how our donors' generosity directly enhances patient environments, says Charity Development and Project Manager, Carol Plunkett. A simple change like this can really lift spirits and support patient recovery.
We're incredibly grateful to everyone who donates, fundraises, or supports NCH&C Charitable Fund. Together, we're making our hospitals brighter, more comforting places for everyone who uses them.
If you'd like to help fund more projects like this, please consider donating today or setting up a regular gift through our Caring Together programme.
