NCH&C Celebrates National Apprenticeship Week 2026
Norfolk Community Health and Care NHS Trust is proud to join the nationwide celebration of National Apprenticeship Week 2026, shining a spotlight on the incredible journeys of our apprentices and the vital role they play in shaping the future of the NHS.
This year's theme is all about growth, inspiration, and opportunity. At NCH&C, we have seen how apprenticeships can be a launchpad for careers, a chance to learn while making a real difference, and a way to bring fresh ideas and energy into our teams.
Throughout this week, we'll be sharing apprentice stories from across the trust. These learnershave embraced apprenticeships to propel their careers forward. Within both clinical and corporate roles, these stories highlight how apprenticeships have opened doors, built confidence, and inspired others to follow in their footsteps.
Following the completion of the Chartered Management Degree, Nicola Samuels has said;
I now feel I have increased resilience, more practical skills and theoretical knowledge, but also feel more curious and able to challenge if there is a better way of doing things.
Highlighting the importance of Apprenticeship opportunities and how it can support growth while on the course as well as after.
Some apprentices come into the NHS via apprenticeship pathways or looking to up skill alongside their day-to-day role.
