Our Neurodevelopmental Service is expanding its digital offer

Our Neurodevelopmental Service (NDS) will be offering a digital way of keeping in touch with patients and families.

Instead of waiting for a letter to arrive in the post, you will now receive important information directly to your email inbox.

This includes:

  • Appointment letters
  • Outcome letters
  • Discharge letters
  • Health questionnaires

This change will help us to:

  • Provide a faster and more streamlined service
  • Make it easier for information to be shared
  • Reduce delays caused by postal services

You will receive your correspondence to the email address you provided when registering with us. When our staff speak with you over the phone, they will confirm your email address to make sure we have the correct details.

What if I can't use email or digital forms?

We understand that not everyone has access to a digital device or email, and that some people may have accessibility needs that make it difficult to use digital communication.

If this applies to you, you can still choose to receive your letters and health questionnaires by post.

Please let our staff know so we can communicate with you in a way that suits you.

Why are we making this change?

Digitalising helps us provide a quicker and more connected service for patients and families, while also reducing paper use. This is part of our commitment to improving patient experience and help make the trust more sustainable.
