Help with health costs
If you're referred to hospital or other NHS premises for specialist NHS treatment or diagnostic tests by a doctor, dentist or another primary care health professional, you may be able to claim a refund of reasonable travel costs under the Healthcare Travel Costs Scheme (HTCS). How to have your say leaflet
Due to restrictions in place following the Covid-19 pandemic, patients are requested to call and book an appointment (contact details below). Emergencies will be prioritised.
Please do not attend a clinic without prior appointment as you will not be seen. Please call to book an appointment with the relevant professional.
Our service
Our Prosthetics Service provides assessment and provision of upper and lower limb prosthesis to people with amputated arms or legs.
The expert team also supports people who are to undergo an arm or leg amputation or people with congenital deformity of limb.
The team is available to patients across Norfolk and some of Suffolk, with clinics in Norwich and Ipswich.
Who we care for
This service is for children and adults.
Referrals
New patients require a referral from a healthcare professional. Existing patients can self-refer into the service.
