Support for carers

Are You an Unpaid Carer?

More than three in five of us will become unpaid carers at some point in our lives. This means looking after a family member, partner, or friend who is ill, disabled, has a mental health condition, or is elderly and frail.

What Does Being a Carer Involve?

You might not think of yourself as a carer-but if you regularly support someone with daily tasks like washing, dressing, attending appointments, or simply keeping them company, you are a carer.
