Our service

This service provides assessment and treatment of pathologies and problems relating to abnormal foot structure and function. Treatment includes prescription orthotics (surgical appliances, such as braces or splints), exercise and rehabilitation advice.


Who we care for

Adults 16 and over.



Referrals from GPs, physiotherapists, community podiatrists and other health professionals for MSK problems affecting the foot, ankle and leg relating to abnormal foot structure and function.

Help with health costs

If you're referred to hospital or other NHS premises for specialist NHS treatment or diagnostic tests by a doctor, dentist or another primary care health professional, you may be able to claim a refund of reasonable travel costs under the Healthcare Travel Costs Scheme (HTCS).
